How can it be?
I told her that these had been the best four years of my life and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
Lucy is hiding her eyes too - for the "big" surprise.
I was really worried because the bike was red and not pink, or purple or yellow...
I'm just a wee bit worried because the bike was assembled by Daddy.
You see who is the first to hitch their little leg right up there.
A beautiful day with friends for my girl. She makes everyone happy.

It happened
Anna looked like a little spring flower yesterday but this is the only photo I could get.
I took the girls out for a pre-dinner, drizzley walk last night. Not only was it beautiful to look at but we heard all kinds of birdsong and the church bells were playing. It was wonderful.
Dad gum paint cans. You see I moved them from the bedroom to beside the front door where they managed to ruin another photo.
must. get. them. to. the. garage.

They're making me fall!
Oh mom! Why do you like them so much?
Abandoned.

Do you hear me laugh out loud often?
It's all the things I enjoy, real estate listings, bad photos and sarcasm.
Enjoy.

More teasing
That's some lively green. No more dead kitchen for me.
Now don't you all want to see the completely finished project? When I turn these 22 yards of fabric into curtains with wavy hems and on an uneven curtain rod?
Well, you will just have to wait. I'm on a roll.
Thanks buddy for ruining my photo!
It's coming, can you feel it?

Giving credit where credit is due
I went outside to make a picture of the snow on my flowers but the camera battery was dead. Imagine that. So you'll have to make due with photos from Saturday. I'm falling a little behind.
Is is just me or is that second photo huge? See, I'm still getting the hang of this.
This is what Anna wore to school yesterday. Is she cute or what?
So, I need to give some credit for some projects posted here.
- The little doll is found here.
- The coffee/soda cozie is here- though I modified mine to fit a soda bottle.
- The pink pig idea came from here
- The peg board organizer came from this GREAT blog
The painter was coming yesterday to start on the "big paint project of ' 09" or as it may be known: The demise of my marriage. The painter has tennis elbow so the project has been pushed back a day or two.
Every time someone, including the painter, looks at the paint chips, hears the ideas, they all say the same thing: "What does Jonathan think about this".
I'm starting to get a little worried because in reality he does not know about... well the blue ceiling for starters.
Elizabeth, you'll help me out won't you?

Yesterday
Oh what a beautiful day yesterday.
If you are interested in any of my projects I'm going back through my posts and adding links to the tutorial or the website where I got the idea. I certainly want to give credit where credit is due.
The painter was to come today but he has tendonitis of the elbow. So I have to wait until Wednesday for my blue ceilings and green walls.
Really.
Today Anna's teacher said, "Anna always picks out interesting outfits". Ummm, that would be me. I thought she looked cute.

Lisa

I'm learning
I didn't get a chance to make my street photo today. We are recovering from pink eye (Lucy) and strep throat (Jonathan).
I did figure out an easy way to get things from picasa to flickr so hopefully the quality of pics will improve.
Are you still with me?
Since I have been at home so much over the last 4 years I have really started noticing things out side. Lookie at my unfurling ferns.

North, East and West
These are some photos made from in front of my house. I'm going to try and make the same photos each day for the month of April. It's going to be amazing.
Procrastination + wine + starting a project at 9 pm = ?
That was the recipe for this project for the birthday girl next door. This is a piggy pillowcase. There are some flaws but over all he turned out pretty cute.
Suddenly I'm craving bacon.
